Obituary

Joao Luis, born on January 25, 1935 in the Island of the Acores Portugal.  It is with heavy hearts that we announce Joao’s passing on June 17, 2024.  We take comfort in knowing that he suffers no more.

Beloved husband of Maria Do Carmo, who stood by his side always. Adored father and father in law of Fatima and Baltasar, Emanuel and Gabriela, Johnny, Nelson and Julie. Grandfather to Jonathan (Yvonne), Ashley, Bailey (Yash), Alissa, Nicholas, Matthew and Emma.  Great grandad to Jacob, Mason and Kaden.

He will be remembered for his big heart, generous caring nature, his love of animals (Pigeons), music and gardening.  We are grateful for the memories and the love and laughter that he brought into our lives, and we will cherish them forever.

You will be missed dearly and live forever in our hearts.

Memorial donations may be made the the Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
