Obituary

It is with deepest sadness that the Tang family advises of Leslie’s sudden and peaceful passing on  Friday, December 17th, 2021.  Loving husband of Sun Oi Tang.  Father to  Rosey, Menna, Brian and Robert.  Father-in-Law to Jack, Mark, Caron and Jennifer.  Proud grandfather to Gianni (Lina), Matthew, Caleigh, Tianna, Wesley, Elliott, Reed, Russell and Madeline.  Great-grandfather to beautiful Esme born this past October to Gianni and Lina.

Leslie enjoyed going for his walks, attending church and spending time with his friends and family.  Even in his eighties Leslie was able to manage his own affairs at home with his wife. He would remember his children's birthdays and send them a birthday card.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.

Your strength, kindness, love and resilience will continue to live on in our memories.  We will miss you forever and always hold you close to our heart.  May you rest in peace in God's heaven.  God bless and keep you in his care.

With all our love,

Your family and friends

Dearest Tang Family, You have my deepest sympathy at this time of the Deliverance of Leslie. I am very sorry for the loss of my friend, and neighbour, Leslie, who I have known since 1979 when I moved into 112 Brunswick Avenue. Among many other distinctive attributes he had a distinctive laugh and voice. I often saw him while he was out walking. I look forward to continuing to know Leslie's endearing family, and, of course, his wife Sun Oi. I really appreciated seeing the photographs of Leslie and your family at the Visitation today. As a Mystic I will follow up on the Spiritual Aspects of Leslie's passing in due course. For now Leslie knew Jesus better than he realized. Jesus was, and is, his Eternal Friend. Blessings, Douglas Donegani

Menna, Mrs Tang, Rosy, Brian, and Robbie, my deepest sympathies to you and all your family. I feel so blessed to know your dad and husband because he always made me feel welcome in your family home. He always seemed ageless to me. He has such a great laugh. May you all experience the love of Jesus as he did. He is at a place where there are no more tears and no more pain. Psalm 23:4 " Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,[c] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
