Obituary
God called Manuel Carlos De Melo peacefully on March 29, 2025 at the age of 83.
He is now reunited in Heaven by his beloved wife Ana Isabel Varao De Melo. Cherished by dear children, Son Michael Melo, Daughter-in-law Florbela Melo, Daughter Ana Paula Melo Pereira, Son-in-law Esmaiel Pereira. Proud grandfather of four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Alexander Melo, Marissa Melo, Sarah Isabel Pereira, Phillip Manuel Pereira and great-granddaughter Rose Olinda Pereira. He will be held dearly in the hearts of his family, relatives, and friends both in Canada and abroad.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.

It is with fond and loving memories that we remember you and the relationship you had with my wife and myself and our children. You were the Grandfather our children never had physically present in their lives, and 'till today they talk about it. I will miss the conversations we used to have about work, politics, family and most of all about Jesus Christ our Savior.

Sr Manuel was such a blessing to our family. He was a grandfather to us and the friendliest face on the block. I have many fond memories of coming home from school or work and he would be working in the garden and we would chat about our day. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Sending so much love to those impacted by his loss.

Manuel was such a sweet and kind person. He had the most generous heart and was like a grandfather to my siblings and I. Always thoughtful, giving and caring. He will truly be missed by many. His gentle nature and the cherished memories we shared will stay forever in our hearts. We are holding you in our hearts during this incredibly difficult time, and we wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Tio Carlos was a kind and generous man with a hopeful spirit, and his presence will be deeply missed. I have always admired him and I find solace in knowing he is at rest with those he cherished. He lived a beautiful life, and it was an honour to have known and loved him.
