Obituary

With hearts full of love and admiration, yet much sadness we announce the passing of a remarkable man who departed from us shortly after celebrating a century of wisdom, strength, and resilience. Myroslaw was a pillar of perseverance, having lived through the hardships of World War II and embarking on a courageous journey to Canada. Here he overcame the challenges of understanding a new way of life – learning a new language, settling in a new job, providing for his family and being involved in growing the Ukrainian community in Toronto.

Myroslaw (dido Myron) was a wonderful father to Andrij (Luba) and Tanya, a guiding light to his grandchildren Ulana (David), Adrian (Emily), Alexander (Samantha), Peter and rejoiced in being around his great-grandchildren Emma, Nathan and Mia. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada, Ukraine and Europe.

Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his lessons taught and his values will be forever part of his family and all those that knew him. We will forever cherish the memories made of the time we shared with him and remember him with love and gratitude.
