Obituary
On the evening of Friday, March 2, 2012 with his daughter at Humber River Regional Hospital “Church site” God called Roman into his peace after a bravely endured illness at the age of 88 years. He is reunited with his beloved late wife Sonia (2000) who is missed after a successful 51 year marriage. Roman has left his devoted, cherished and loving daughter, Helen Anne who is extremely grief-stricken and devastated. He is predeceased by his parents, brother and sisters in Ukraine where he was born in 1923. Roman was a respected, talented, admired, hardworking gentleman who successfully accomplished a great deal and a wonderful life especially for his family which were always his priority and enjoyment filled with treasured and special moments. An opportunity to bid Roman farewell will begin with a visitation on Thursday March 8th, 2012 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. A Panachyda will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street, East of Keele Street. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 9th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphats Cathedral, 143 Franklin Ave, East of Dundas Street, followed by his final journey to Park Lawn Cemetery joining his wife at the beautifully designed monument Roman designed for his family. Roman will be greatly missed, always loved and forever remembered as a remarkable and best father of Helen Anne who bids him a fond farewell and safe journey.
