Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle and family friend. Although never a man of many words his love was immensely felt by all those that knew him. His legacy will be remembered as a carer, provider, jokester and a teacher of life and he will be greatly missed by all.

There isn't a childhood memory without my Uncle Sigi. I have so many happy times with him, Aunt Joan, Michele and Yvonne. I'll never forget how happy he was when Derrick came into the world making him a grandfather for the first time and how proud he was. I saw him with all of his grandchildren over the years who all adored him. I was happy he asked to me to be there for him following his heart surgery around the time I moved to the UK and looking back on it I think he'd hope I would change my mind. However, we'd kept in touch over the years with various visits and phone calls. For me he has been a constant positive male role model in my life and I feel lucky to have known him. I'll never forget his laugh when I would tease him about revealing Coronation Street plots but mostly I will never forget his kindness and his love for his family and friends. I'll truly miss him and remember him with much fondness. I send my heart felt condolences to all my cousins, Rita and Chris and to everyone else who was lucky to know him. RIP Uncle Sigi, you'll be sadly missed but never forgotten. Love Mel

Sigi, will be missed by myself and my whole family 💕
We couldn’t have wished for a better neighbour, quick to lend a helpful hand and deliver a witty remark , with a dry sense of humour, that I loved 🥰
Also, at some point of all my kids lives, now 25,22 and 18. They truly considered Sigi a best friend. Helping with gardening or watering. Never mowing the lawn though… I think that was an art that Sigi liked to keep for himself 💕👍🏻
