TURKEWYCH, Walter - Peacefully, on August 1st 2013, aged 91, after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s, our beloved husband, father and grandfather succumbed. He is survived by his wife Anna, their children George (Yurko) and Christine (Chrystia), and their granddaughter Zenia. Walter will be remembered for his dedication to family, passion for Ukrainian and Canadian politics, gardening and sports. Friends are invited to gather at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., on Tuesday August 6th from 6-9 p.m. Panakhyda 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Demetrius the Great Martyr on La Rose Avenue on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.Visitation
