Obituary

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday December 24 at home in her 99th year.

Predeceased by her husband Hryhorij and son Yaroslav. Anna will be dearly missed by her daughter Zenia (Walter) Horlatsch, and son Taras. Devoted grandmother to Adriana (Michael) Stechey and Alexandra (Alexander) Giorgio, and proud great grandmother of Matthew, Alexander, Markian and Julian Stechey. Anna will be dearly missed by her extended family in Canada and Ukraine. A grateful and heartfelt thank you to Asia, Rebecca, Maya and the SRT med staff for their tireless care. Their compassion and kindness is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Visitation to be held on Tuesday January 7 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (300 River Oaks Blvd. E, Oakville) with a Panachyda at 7:00pm. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday January 8 at10:00am at St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (300 River Oaks Blvd. E, Oakville). Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
