Obituary

Some people walk this earth and leave a profound impact on everyone they encounter; their departure serves as a reminder that angels are watching over us. On March 21, Gracinda Marques Dias earned her wings and reunited with her heavenly friends and family.

Gracinda was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and her passing has created an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be fondly remembered for her kind heart, vibrant energy, and her boundless generosity. We are thankful for the memories, love, and laughter that Gracinda shared with us, and we will hold them close forever.

Gracinda was deeply loved by her husband, Jose Dias, and cherished by her children Tony Dias, Fernanda Dias, and Joe DeBrito (son-in-law). She was a proud grandmother to Nathan DeBrito, David Dias, and Marcus DeBrito. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, relatives, and friends.

In honor of Gracinda’s selfless spirit, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.

She was one of a kind - loving, caring, thoughtful and always full of “jouie de vivre” even when going through one of her many illnesses. She was full of life and focused on the positive side of everything. She was the life of the party here and will be the same in heaven. Keep dancing Tia, you will be terribly missed and always be loved ❤️❤️❤️
