Obituary
Passed away, peacefully, at the age of 88, on January 10, 2013, at the Ivan Franko Home surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness, Halyna Dowhal, beloved wife of the late Ivan. Loving mother of George, Maria and her husband Zenon Petriw and Andrew and his wife Catherine. Dear grandmother of Melanie Petriw, Alexandra and Andrew Dowhal. Will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends in the U.S., Canada and Ukraine. Visitation on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Orthodox Rite of Funeral on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. in St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 404 Bathurst St., Toronto followed by interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ivan Franko for their kindness shown to their mother.
