I am so sorry to learn of your bereavement. I remember Helen for so many things: her good heart, her interest in the arts, her generosity in devoting her time and energy to her community, her warm and lovely singing voice. I will forever hold her in my heart as one of the wonderful choristers who sang at my beloved husband Ivaan's funeral. She lives on through her kindness. Vichnaya Pam'yat.

Dear Wawryshyn Family, Please accept my deepest condolences to Olena and Oksana. I first met Helen as a student in my Grade 9 Homeroom. She was always smiling, kind and helpful. Later, as a teacher myself, I ran into on Bloor on several occassions, and she, again, was always kind and had encouraging anecdotes. Vicha Pamyat.

Hello; I was quite shocked when I found out the Halya had passed. It was always a joy to see her to bump into her. I will always remember the opera company and Halya. I recall one day meeting Halya at Sherway Gardens. Jerry, she and I spoke extensively. It is a conversation that we will always remember. We spoke of ancestry and family. Unfortunately Jerry and I were unable to attend services tonight but Halya is in our thoughts. Khaj vidpochyvaye spokijno. Vichna Yii Pamiatj. I am very sorry for your loss. Respectfully, Oksana Lejbjuk Kalyn.
