Heaven gained an Angel.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jean Gladys Hather announce her unexpected passing on January 26, 2022, in her 86th year.

Jean was diagnosed with dementia in 2009. The last two years she tried to put a brave face on while fighting the hardships of this devastating disease.

She is free from suffering and will be reunited with her predeceased son, Danny.

Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Norman “Douglas” Hather.

Daughters – Terry (Brian), Lori (Joe), Cheryl and Chantal (Daughter-in-Law)

Grandchildren – Jason, Melissa (Kaler), Nicole (Richard), Jesse and Amanda (Logan)

Great Grandchildren – Gabriel and Emily

As well as her brothers and sisters – Raymond, Jim, John, Judy, Lorna and Coleen.

And many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to West Park Long Term Care for their unwavering kindness, dignity and love.

Mom, your wings were ready but our hearts were not.
