Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Conceição Camara announces her passing on October 7, 2024 at the age of 81.

She was married to her beloved husband João Camara, until his passing in 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Grace and Diana, her son-in-law Ken, and her cherished granddaughters, Julia and Maya. She will also be forever remembered by her many friends, extended family, and all whose lives she touched.

A hardworking, selfless woman, Conceicao was deeply devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was nurturing those she loved, and she often expressed her care through her incredible cooking and baking, always making sure everyone was well-fed and happy. Whether it was a special dish for a holiday celebration or a simple, comforting meal, she poured her heart into everything she made.

In her quiet moments, Conceicao found solace in watching her beloved Portuguese and Brazilian soap-operas and enjoyed chatting on the phone with her close friends and family members.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, kindness, and memories she leaves behind will forever be cherished.

You will never be forgotten and we will always love you. Until we meet again.
