Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria dos Anjos Da Silva, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was surrounded by her loved ones at her passing. She left us peacefully surrounded by love and cherished memories. Maria was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Dinis Da Silva, and her dear son, Luis Da Silva, both of whom she is now reunited with in heaven.

Maria leaves behind a family that adored her. She is survived by her loving children, Maria Coelho (Gilbert) and Januario Da Silva (Goretti), who were her pride and joy. Her warmth and kindness were also felt deeply by her four grandchildren: Michael Coelho (Sharon), Sabrina Coelho (Terry), Samantha Karamountzos (George), and Rachael Da Silva. Maria was fortunate to witness the growth of her great-grandchildren: Aaron Coelho, Elijah Coelho, Daniel Karamountzos, and Ella Karamountzos, who brought her endless happiness.

Maria was known for her radiant smile and her compassionate heart, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her presence brought light and love into every room she entered, and she will be remembered for her kindness, and gentle spirit.

Though we mourn her loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her husband Dinis and her son Luis, and that her love and legacy live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Maria will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain with us forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria dos Anjos can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Peel.

Please take a moment to leave an online condolence.

Dear Jan and family, our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Mother. She had the sweetest, most radiant smile. Her joy came from her heart. While our interactions were mainly hellos and waves in the backyard, she was adored for being so sweet and kind. May she rest in peace. Andrew and Nada Stancel
