Mrs. Maria Gloria Borges

Obituary

Maria Gloria Medeiros Borges, 87, died March 21, 2022, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm.  Her funeral service will be held at 9:45 am on Monday, March 28^th, 2022, at St. Mary’s Church in Toronto, followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Homes in Toronto on Sunday, March 27^th, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Gloria was born on the 4^th of April, 1934 in San Miguel, Azores to Joao and Maria Carvalho Medeiros.  Gloria was married to Manuel De Rego Borges (deceased) and is survived by her two son’s John and his wife Margaret, and George and his wife Angela.

Family meant everything to Gloria and she is survived by 5 grandchildren (Mike, Daniel, Steven, Christopher and Samantha) and 5 great-grandchildren (Cameron, Emma, Colton, Joshua and Dominic).

Her presence at the table will be missed the next time we all sit down to play a game of cards.

May you finally find peace back in the arms of your loving husband after so many years apart and may God grant you eternal peace.
