Obituary
Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday January 21, 2016, in her 89th year, after a lengthy illness. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Stephan. She will be missed by her children Nikolas (Margaret), Igor (Alina) and Alex (Marney). Survived by her sister Katherine, predeceased by sisters Vera and Olga. Grandmother of Natalie, Melissa and Stephen. Former owner of Kiev Restaurant in Toronto and former owner of The Royal Coachman Pub in Waterdown, Ontario. Visitation will take place during the Panakhyda service on Monday January 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at The Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 23 Henry Street. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., at church. Interment at York Cemetery to follow. Donations may be made in memory of Maria Morgunov to The Alzheimer Society of Canada.Visitation

Dear Alex, Igor & Nik,
Elizabeth & I are deeply saddened by the news.

Your mother was a very kind and gentle lady.
I fondly remember the times we spent together at your home and ours as kid's over the years.
I will never forget how your mom would always go out of her way to make 'Napoleon torte' and 'Black Forest cake' for me prior to our family visit.
She was a beautiful lady and what a culinary artist.
My parents (Marie & Dimitri) always held your mom & dad in highest regards and as close family friends.
