First of all I would like to say that you will be very missed and I love you. Even though you are not my grandmother by blood you are in my heart. You have raised me like one of your own. I know you are up in heaven looking down at all of us and sharing your strength. You are one of most courageous women I have ever met and I will never forget you.

To my grandmother whom i loved so very much. I am so privilaged to have been raised by a fighter as strong as you. You are part of the person that I am today. I am so happy that my daughter had the plaesure of meeting her great grandmother. In your 96 years of life you have touched so many hearts and it would be selfish of us not to let you go. As my older brother put it "On may 6th an angel left us and has gone to look upon us in heaven". You have lived 2 world wars and have raised generations of chirldren, grandchirldren and great grandchildren, you are a fighter and I so admire your strength. I love so very much and I will miss you, but I understand that your time has come and I am so thankful for the time you gave us. You may have left us in person but you live in so many hearts forever. i love you and i will miss you avo, grandma dynamite, the owl, great grandma avo valinha, mae, so many names needed for such a remarkable woman. love always and forever your grandaughter, Clarissa Candido Leal
