Ms. Anne Annette Byzko

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Anne Byzko.

Anne passed peacefully on Monday July 29, 2024 at Toronto General Hospital.  Anne was the only child of John and Helena (nee Polanska) in Toronto, Ontario.

In her early years, she attended the Ukrainian Saturday school at St. Volodymyr Institute, as well as dancing as a young girl in the local Ukrainian ensemble.  She graduated from the University of Toronto, and later worked in a legal company as a paralegal until her retirement. Anne loved to take pictures as a hobby, then it became her passion.  She loved plants, flowers, interesting architecture, paint and talk about global politics.  Anne was passionate about  traveling and reading books.  She loved being surrounded by nature and animals, especially cats!

She is survived by her goddaughter Donna, distant cousins and close friends.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all the medical care and compassion and enabling Anne to pass with dignity.
