Decima Mercado - Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we share the peaceful passing of Decima T. Mercado, mother of Jessica (Bill), Pamela (Paul), Ronaldo and Magnolia (Pierre) on March 4, 2021. She will always be remembered as the loving ‘Lola’ by Benjamin, Nicholas, Tristan, Victoria and Jude. A fearless fighter, a courageous soul, a resilient being and a natural artisan, she undoubtedly lived a humble and a very fulfilling life.
With her strong determination, she opened windows of possibilities and lifelong dreams for her children. Her passion for creativity, her impeccable taste, commitment to gardening and culinary expertise inspired others to appreciate the simplest things in life.
It is with great sadness that she has reached her life’s final destination but the memories she made will always be remembered and the love she shared will be felt forever. May she find eternal happiness in God’s kingdom.

Visitation
Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective November 23, 2020 all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one or by sending flowers to the funeral home.
