It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Anna on August 7, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Stanley Sokolowsky and son Dr.Walter Lopaski. Dear mother of Helen and John, mother in law of Nicholas Hawrylyshyn and Joan Lopaski. Loving grandmother of Tanya, Stephen, Christine, Laryssa and Andre. Proud great grandmother of Indy and Oliver. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (near Keele) Tuesday from 6-9 p.m., Panachyda 7:30. Funeral service will be held at Saint Nicholas Church (Bellwoods and Queen) on Wednesday at 10 a.m . Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery. Vichnaya PamyatVisitation

We are so very sorry of the passing of your mother, mother-in-law and baba. May you grandchildren keep her memories alive in your hearts and cherish the fun times growing up with her. The holidays, the birthdays and the tasty pierogies and borscht that I'm sure she made for you many times. For her it was a labour of love no doubt.
