Obituary

Anna Sokolowski— Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. Predeceased by her husband John Sokolowski. Loving mother to Marusia Ambrosio (Joseph), and her departed sons Leo (Vera) and Steve. Cherished grandmother to John, Tanya, Andre, Michael, Alex and Sophia. Beloved great grandmother to Aleksa, Brayden, Joseph, Liam, Lucas and Niiko. A visitation will be held on Monday January 16th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9p.m. with Panakhyda at 7:30p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. Toronto (near Keele St.). The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday January 17th at 10 a.m. at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
