I was saddened to read of Carolyn's passing. She was a very gracious lady and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. I sure hope she meets up with Dale in the great beyond as they would have many stories to share. God Bless all of you.

Dear Holly, Allen, Ted & Families: Fraser and I want you to know how sorry we are to hear the news about your mother. She was a dear friend and we well remember the evenings we spent at your place in Clayton Park with your father playing the piano and the rest of us attempting to sing.Maybe that's when you decided you needed to take over in that department, Holly! Carolyn & I spent an afternoon together in Toronto a few years ago. We had a great time reminiscing and catching up on each others news. She had a great love of and pride in her family and their many accomplishments big and small. She enjoyed immensely her lunches with Dashiell. We are thinking of all of you at this time and thank you for calling the other day, Holly. Fondly Marilyn & Fraser

My condolences to you all Ted, Holly ,Allen and all your families. Carolyn has left a great impact on my life. She was a dear friend to me here in Fredericton and although I haven't seen her in quite some time I will always remember her kindness and humor. We've had so many great laughs and cries together, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. One of our greatest times was when I came to Toronto to help her move, there was never a dull moment. She brought out the best in everyone she knew. My heart has a void that was filled by her passion for all things beautiful. I'm so glad I got to meet each of you however brief it was as she was so proud of you all. I remember all of our yard sale trips to look for special and different books for her grandson before he was born, she was determined to have the best book collection for him and we spent many hours preparing them for his arrival. My thoughts are with you all at this time. I will never forget her and am so blessed to have had her as a friend.

Carolyn was a warm and friendly person. When I moved to Saint John she took me under her wing and introduced me to some of the many people she knew in the arts community. I started volunteering at the ABEC when she was a director there. Even though I offered to do science sessions with children she embraced the idea and welcomed me into the Centre. We spent many happy evenings eating dinners with the "Old Biddies Club" as it was called, a group of interesting women I was fortunate to meet because of her. She loved to laugh and the twinkle in her eye could get others laughing as well. She was young at heart as I remember and that is a rare quality.

Dear Holly, Allan & Ted So very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I am remembering all the pleasant hours we spent in Nova Scotia. (A lot of them playing Bridge!) She was a talented and gifted person, whom I shall miss very deeply. Love to you all, Bob Johnson

We were saddened to learn of Carolyn's passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family. We have many wonderful memories of her when she was the Director of the Aitken Bicentennial Exhibition Centre in Saint John, NB, and the great parties she often had at her home. The Who's Who of the arts community would always be there! We are indeed fortunate and blessed that she entered our lives. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Most sincerely, Bernie & Elizabeth Cormier
