I am a childhood friend of danny's from st.anthony's elementary school. Although i haven't seen danny in many years, i have many fond memories of him and when i heard of his passing i had to send love and condolences to his family. God bless.

Danny loved his family they meant the world to him . Danny was the type of guy to give you the shirt off his back . He helped many . My deepest condolences to the De Castro family. I have known Danny for about four years our lockers are next to each other at work. I can tell you it was like a best friend conversation with Danny ever since we met. We laughed and joked all the time and had great conversations. He would always make sure I had what I needed at work he was a great coworker. He was a leader a friend with great attitude morals and respect.
For ever the memories will last.

Danny was very friendly and kind, always greeting me at the office with a smile and a wave, or stopping to chat and ask how things were going. When our team worked in the shop he would go well out of his way to help us. Danny was a good man and will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to Danny's family and friends. It was always a joy to see Danny in the office. He would go out of his way to help and somehow always found the exact words to gift us with a smile and a laugh. I have known Danny on and off through wasteco for the past 8 years. We always joked with each other on a daily basis and he always was very quick witted, clever and a really funny guy. He always managed to get the upper hand on me when we made some good natured cracks towards each other. He was a good man, I really enjoyed his company and I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him a little more. I am so sorry and saddened to hear of his passing. A very positive spirit has left this world. He tried to be my strength through the hard times of my son battling cancer. Having survived cancer himself, Danny made himself available as someone to talk to and lean on. He was angry at me when I was negative, but that was his way. I loved his battles with co-workers over his beloved Maple Leafs and this is how he would be with me about illness and death.
People like Danny are rare. His suffering is over. Now he is at peace!
Soar with the angels Danny DeCastro. You will forever have a place in my heart.
