Obituary

March 5, 2015 - May 7, 2017 Emmet Jeffrey Foster passed in his sleep early in the morning on Sunday, May 7, 2017. Emmet's passing was very sudden and surprising even though he had bravely fought various heart aliments for most of his short life. As the centre of his parent's universe and the centre of attention for his friends and family, he is greatly missed. We will miss him every second of every day but are extremely proud to be his parents. We're proud that he was such a fighter; we're proud that he was so kind and loving; we're proud that he was so precocious; and we're proud that he lived life to the fullest. He had a sweet soul, a love for music and he looked great in baseball caps and sunglasses. He loved his family, friends, trains, dinosaurs, buses, trucks, garbage trucks, airplanes, riding his red bike, being carried all over Toronto by his daddy, all animals, ice cream, cheeseburgers, pizza and coyly asking for a piece of chocolate. In just over two years, Emmet brought sunshine into the lives and hearts of hundreds of friends, family and even strangers passing by with his constant hellos, singing, guitar playing and infectious smile. It is not every day that you meet a two-year-old that can teach you so many life lessons. Emmet reminded everyone to live life to the fullest, sing at the top of your lungs and always be ready to smile and rock out. Beloved son of Jeffrey and Helen Foster, Grandson of Dan and Maureen Foster, Eric and Philly Holowaty and nephew to Greg, Marylena, Scott, Lynsey, Colin and Jen and big cousin to Jack and Louisa. Donations can be made in Emmet's name at the Sick Kids Foundation: sickkidsdonations.com/EmmetFoster The funeral will be held on Friday, May 12th at St. Peters Church in Toronto at 10 a.m. followed by a reception at Artscape Wychwood Barns 12-5 p.m. Love you Miss you Emmet - mommy and daddy
