JOAO RAPOSO BORGES Surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 80th year on May 19th, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto. He is survived by Maria Conceicao his loving wife of 57 years and his dear children Ester (Nelson Silva), Lucy (David Lopes), John and Patricia (Anibal Villar). Kind-hearted and cherished Avô of Jeanne (Ricardo Sousa), Natasheia (Ryan Adams), Anita (Steven Yessie), Erica (Bradley Ray), Rebecca (Geoffrey Morgan), Zachariah, Justice, Jade, Nikita (Pedro Gomes) and Katrina. Playful and loving Bisavô to Eleanor, Isabella, Oliver, Martin and Alexander. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Conceicao (Luis Soares). He is predeceased by his parents Maria de Jesus and Augusto Raposo and siblings Luis, Carlos, Antonio, Artur and Augusto. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Health CentreVisitation
