Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joao Amaral Silva, in his 86th year, on August 9, 2021.
Joao will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Virginia. He was a cherished father to Guilherme (Isaura) and beloved grandfather to Emma and Sebastian. He is survived by his sisters Maria dos Anjos (Antonio dec.) and Armenia (Antonio dec.) who he loved dearly and was predeceased by his brothers Manuel (Micaela dec.), David (Ilda dec.) and Hortencio (Aida).
Joao will forever be remembered for his fun-loving nature and generous heart. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place from 4pm - 8pm on August 12th at Cardinal Funeral Homes, Bathurst Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen’s Parish, 1680 Dundas St. West, Toronto on August 13th at 10am. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga.
