Liora Karadafov

Liora was an amazing friend. She had the ability to make everyone laugh and smile. Her heart was made of the purest gold in the world. I was fortunate to have met her. She will always stay in my heart and I will always think of the memories we have made. Rest in peace my dear friend. I will always think of you.

Liora was a very special person -- generous, positive, honest. We were planning a trip to Key West next month, at least I was hoping.. We had lunch on the Wednesday before, and talked about how life often has good things in store just around the corner if you're wiling. Afterwards we went to buy a flower to give to one of her friends, an elderly woman whose hair she was doing that afternoon. She chose a young live orchid, "so it would last longer". I told her to pick one out for herself, and she chose a calla lily and I added some roses, and she smiled and said, "I'm a flower girl". She left the next evening for Montreal and that was the last I saw her. I miss her.

Liora was the first person to treat me with kindness when I entered a very difficult part of my life. She gave me guidance, she gave me shelter and she gave me more laughs than most people could handle. She was always there to put a smile on my face. She was brave and beautiful throughout her entire being. Laura you were always an angel, I'm sorry your light was taken from us so early <3

She needed a hero, so she became one... Rest in peace dear Laura. I will always carry you in my heart and tell your story as a source of great inspiration and courage! Peter

Laura / Martin was the loveliest friend I met on cruise liners shd was always there for me and always had a smile on her face. I will be in forever shock as I can't believe you are gone. Rest in peace, sleep tight and I'll see you again one day xxxx condolences to family and friends
