Obituary

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, January 3 in her 97th year. Devoted wife of the late Jose “Adolfo”. Cherished mother of Lolita (Roger), Victor (Ginette), Gigi (Manny), and Tito (Otilia). Proud Vovobia of grandchildren Tracy, Cynthia, Mark, Thalia, Eric, Jessica, Daryl, and Chloe; and great-grandchildren Mya, Chelsea, Vincent, Jacob, Jarett, Luca, Tiago, Noah, and Nathan. Bia will be dearly missed by her caregiver and friend Palmira. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her compassion: she fed the bodies and souls of many with her home cooking and generosity to those in poverty. She had an incredible gift with her hands, making her famous monkeys, cabides, knitting baby booties, and so much more. She was dedicated to her faith and to her family. Her legacy of love will live on. If desired, donations in memory of Bia may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Our condolences to your entire Family. Coco Bia had a heart of gold. She was everyone’s Rock as you may say. Young at heart she was and her positive attitude gave strength to many she encountered. Thinking of you. Doris, Larry and family Schembri
