A few friends and I only just found out and were shocked to hear about Irene's sudden departure from her physical body. We have fond memories of spending many pleasant hours sharing philosophical views, drinking tea, sketching in her journal and visiting the "Bird Man" in High Park. There were also wonderful times with which Irene demonstrated her nurturing yet monk-like nature when we would visit her in her peacful sanctuary apartment containing her treasures of Buddha statues, spiritual feathers, bamboo, books and cards. A group of us had our own little memorial for her this past Easter Monday where we sent much Love to her Soul whom we envision playfully enjoying being back "Home".
