I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mitred Archpriest Stasiw. While attending school every Saturday at Christie Pits, I was one of his students. He married me and my current husband in September 1976; and he was there when my mother passed away in June 2003 during SARS.
I have fond memories. He is free now.

To Fr. Myron's family, personal friends and church congregation to whom he devoted his entire life. Silently he accepted his fate and struggled so hard with his health challenges in recent years.
He was a great man in life, known and respected for his countless acts of kindness, strong moral principles and truth.
May he rest in peace with the Lord. The memory of him will remain with us all forever.

I have been thinking of Mitred Achpriest Myron Stasaw for some time. I wish for him peace as he is with his father. I remember Father Stasiw from Ukrainian School and at times he would give me a lift home. I remember Father as a kind man with a great sense of humor. Vichna Iomu Pamiatj.
