Morley was a good neighbour, always willing to help. I particularly remember one time when I was between jobs and hanging around wondering how I was going to do my shopping. Suddenly, Morley walked over and handed me a twenty-dollar bill saying that I'd lent him ten bucks on two occasions a few years ago, and now he was able to pay it back. How like him to remember and to appear at just the right moment!

Morley "Mo" Yan was a Baldwin Street original. His last years were spent at Vance Latchford Place, 2 Murray, where he was known for his sense of humour, his community spirit and his gentle generous soul. Will always remember how he used his cooking skills to prepare chicken wings for the eighth floor crew in his trusty convection oven. He will be missed. Preceded in death by his precious cat Puppy.
