Obituary

It is with Great Sadness that the Family of Albert Victor Archee announce his passing at Mt Sinai Hospital on Thursday May 11th at 12:45pm at the amazing age of 93.   Albert Victor Archee was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago.where he married Theresa and raised a family of 5 boys.   In 1969, Albert and Theresa immigrated to Canada in search of a better life. They settled in Toronto and through hard work, long hours and perseverance, they built a happy and successful life for their family.   Albert’s joy was his family first, cars, food, travelling and always wanting to see what was around the next horizon was a close second.   He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Michael , Gerard , Bryan, Gregory (passed on) Sean and their spouses; Carman, Bruce , Eliza and Pamela. His legacy is continued through his loving Grand children - Marcus, Spencer, Arianne , Sierra, James and Charlotte . He is also remembered by his sisters; Mei Quo(passed on), Mei Chee (passed on), Phyllis (passed on), Ellen and Sheila, plus a horde of nephews and their kids, too many to mention. He is now lovingly reunited with departed family: beloved Wife Theresa, Son Gregory , Father James, Mom Hou See, and sisters Phyllis, Mei Quo, and Mei Chee in Heaven.

Our love to Mike, Gerard, Bryan, Sean and your families. There are no words to express our sympathy for this great loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We loved being around your Dad. A man of few words and he did not need to say much as he always had a readied smile and so easy to be in his company. A truly gentle and beautiful soul. His journey here may have ended but it just started on the other side with Aunt Theresa. Probably driving in his dream car to visit Greg, Grandpa and Grandma and the others. He is at peace with the Lord. We will miss him. Please reach out to us whenever you need to. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I was fortunate to have seen Gong-Sook the day before he passed on and reminisced about the weekend trips he took us on as kids. Day trips to Niagara Falls, Niagara on the lake, Kingston and wherever he wanted we were willing accomplices. He loved driving with all the kids in the back of his station wagon rolling around and having fun and we always ended with a picnic at our destination. My uncle will be missed. My deepest condolences to my cousins, their partners and kids.
