O meu tio Viola traz-me sempre a lembrança de quando vinha a Portugal de férias, fazíamos uma festa de boas vindas na casa de sua tia ( Ti Marquinhas) em que eu, mais meu irmão e minha mãe nos encontrávamos todos. Meu primo Mário na altura assim como eu e meu irmão, éramos umas crianças e lembro-me de brincarmos naquele corredor e era uma alegria ver a família toda junta! Tio, descanse em paz e dê um grande beijinho à minha tia Santo António. Muitas saudades

To Our Loving Antonio Viola, It is with great sadness we witness the passing of our dear Avo Viola. Antonio Viola will be remembered with great fondness. He and his wife came from a humble life in Peniche with success in the furniture business. As a cabinet maker and seamstress respectively, working hard and a drive to provide for their two kids drove them to emigrate to Canada in pursuit of a better life. Little did they know that would pave the way for countless other Portuguese families pursuing the same dream. His many descendants credit him with offering the reality of a better life in Canada. We celebrate his long and fruitful life that made this possible. We regret not being able to be there in person. He will forever be in our hearts from a part of the world he also dearly loved, British Columbia. Boa viagem Avo!! Love from his Grandson, Great Daughter in law and Great Grand Daughter.
