Passed away March 15, 2019 suddenly. Beloved husband for 43 years to Lucinda. Loving father of Joaquim and Sonia. Cherished grandfather of Melanie. Adored by daughter-in-law Vera and son-in-law Altino. Beloved brother of Luis. An uncle and friend to many. Born in Cascais Portugal, lived in Mozambique before settling in Toronto, Canada. He worked as a carpenter. He loved sailing in his younger years. Enjoyed watching action movies and traveling to his homeland Portugal. He will be mostly remembered for his generosity, kindness and constant concern for the well being of others. A one of a kind personality. Memorable. Unforgettable. He is truly missed. With great sadness and reluctantly, we say the most difficult goodbye. God keep you. Rest in peace. We love you and are forever, forever, forever grateful for the the time we spent together.

It is unimaginable and only by experience can we understand the void of having someone all your life and suddenly losing them. The loss creates an eternal longing for their presence and especially to hear their voice.
