Pereira, Antonio Rui"A Lion's Heart"
Antonio Rui Pereira passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday August 14th at Bridgepoint Health (formerly the Riverdale Hospital). Antonio Rui was in his 67th year.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria de Lourdes, son Rui, daughter in law Suzanne and many friends and relatives in Portugal.
At this time the family extends its heartfelt thanks to Dr. Saul and his staff for their excellent care of Antonio Rui during his many years of illness.
There will be a visitation from 2-9 p.m. Thursday August 16th at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street. A funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes Church on Friday August 17th at 9 a.m. with burial to follow in Portugal.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
