Obituary
Antonio Sousa Rego was born on July 29, 1938 in Santo Espirito, Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal and passed away on January 6, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 82.
He immigrated to Canada in 1969, followed by his wife Maria and son Antonio José in 1970 to establish roots, here in Canada, and build a better life for his family.
Antonio is predeceased by his parents José Machado Rego and Maria Soares Sousa, and brothers Manuel Rego and José Rego.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Maria, dear children Antonio José and Nelia, son-in-law Michael and beloved grand-daughter Emma. Antonio will be sadly missed by his siblings David Rego, Maria José Araujo, Helena Fernandes. Conceicão Barros and Ernesto Rego, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He may be gone, but his memory will continue to live in our hearts.

Visitation
Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective November 23, 2020 all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one or by sending flowers to the funeral home.
