Obituary

                  PIMPAO, ANTONIO (TONY) FRANCISCO DE MEDEIROS: - Tony was born February 12, 1959, in Santa Cruz, Lagoa, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, and passed away at his residence, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Dec. 30, 2020. Tony is predeceased by his Father, Antonio de Medeiros Pimpao, his Mother, Maria Guilhermina Arruda Pimpao, and his Brother, John de Medeiros Pimpao. Tony immigrated to Canada in 1964, along with his Mother, and his Brothers, to join his Father who immigrated earlier, to establish roots, here in Canada. Tony was well loved, and he will be greatly missed by his Family, his Son, William (Billy) Pimpao, Brothers, Paul Pimpao, his Wife, Linda, and Duarte (Eddie) de Medeiros, his Wife Lubelia, their Children, and many Friends. In his earlier career, Tony worked as a Drywaller for the Drywallers’ Union, and later operated his own Flower Delivery Service. Tony will be sadly missed by all of his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Niece, and Nephews, here in Canada, and in Portugal. If desired, donations can be made in Tony’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Rest in Peace, our dear Tony, until we meet again – we Love You.   Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective November 23, 2020 all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one or by sending flowers to the funeral home.                                           If desired, in memory of Tony, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
