Afanasiew, Boris GregorevichOn April 28, 2004. Born May 15, 1915 in Don Region, Russia. Beloved husband of Alexandra. Dear Father of Walter (Cheryl) and Victor (Irene). Loving grandfather to Tamara, Tim and Michael and great-grandfather to Alexandre. Long time resident of Jackson's Point, Ontario. Boris will be remembered for his wonderful singing voice and his involvement with the Russian Orthodox Church. Friends may visit at the Cardinal Funeral Home (366 Bathurst Street) on Saturday from 2-4 PM. Panachyda on Sunday at the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church (23 Henry Street) at 7 PM. Liturgy on Monday at 9 AM, followed by Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment at York Cemetery. "
