Obituary

Boris passed away peacefully, at home, on the morning of April 14, 2024. He was loved dearly by his brother Zenon (Zeke), sister-in-law Elaine and friends from work and his neighbourhood. Boris attended Parkdale Collegiate where he enjoyed participating in sports. He then went on to work at CAMH. He loved discussing sports and politics and was very up-to-date on what was happening in Toronto. He was a great story teller and regularly entertained his family and friends with his opinions, which he never held back, on the news. He loved to sit on his veranda and enjoy life. He lived life to fullest on his terms People that met Bo realized that he was quite the character, a little rough around the edges but had a very kind heart. He will be greatly missed.

In celebration of Boris’s life, donations can be made, In Memory, to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I am so sorry for you loss. I am grateful that Boris and I had the opportunity to cross paths over the last year. He was a very genuine soul and reminded me of the generosity from home. Vichnaya Pamyat.

I’ve known Bo for over 30 years working at Queen Street / CAMH. He was like my big brother at work, he always looked after me. When he retired, I would visit him and enjoyed sharing a beer, talking on the veranda about work and the good times we shared. RIP my friend, going to miss coming over to your place and helping you out with your TV and computer problems. LOL. Until we meet again in the afterlife.
