At a time like this, words seem inadequate but we want to extend our deepest condolences for the loss of Tio Carlos. We are thankful for the wonderful life that he lived. He was a caring and loving uncle, husband and brother. He was a role model and mentor, a wonderful father and grandfather, loved by all.
Tio Carlos would want us to celebrate his life and all the love that he shared.
Through his memories he will live on in our hearts forever. Tio Carlos will be greatly missed. With our deepest sympathy, Love Steve and Ariel

Let me tell you about my Tio Carlos Medeiros
I have many special childhood memories of my Tio Carlos. I fondly recall our many passionate conversations about politics, literature and even sports around the dining room table. I also remember our same love of food and nightly snacks, which would draw many comparisons between us by my cousins.
I have often reminisced about our weekly Portuguese chicken dinner sleepover weekends at my tio's house during my formative teen years. However, it was the day that my uncle bought my cousin Ana a bunk bed, much to her dismay, so that I would have my own bed to sleep in at his house that often warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.
My Tio Carlos was a remarkable son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and human being. He spread love and laughter everywhere he would go. He will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you; my Madrinha Emilia and my cousins: Paul, Luis and Ana and their extended families during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you. I love you and stay strong.
