Obituary
Pedrosa, Casimiro – Passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on January 16th 2014 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Predeceased by his loving wife Deotilde (August 2013). Beloved father of Augusto (Noemia) and Judy (Virgilio). Cherished grandfather of Tiago and Jaime. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends in Portugal, his sister Celeste, niece Tininha and great nephew Ricardo and many cousins. Our dearly beloved Dad was a kind hearted soul with a beautiful genuine smile, his happiest times were when he was surrounded by family and friends he always had a story to tell that would put a smile on your face. He came to Canada as a stowaway in the late 1950's, as a bachelor to start a new life, with a hole in his shoes and a 5 dollar bill in his pocket no family and not able to speak the language. While working hard in tabacco farms and factories he met his beloved wife Deotilde, of almost 50 years of marrige. They married December 30th1963 in the town of Galt, Waterloo and shortly after his job at Canada Wire and Cable moved him to Toronto, where he proudly worked for 26 years. He offten spoke of those difficult times but never with any regret. He was a true survivour a " HERO" we are honored to call DAD. Forever in our hearts........ " e tudo ou vento levou"Visitation

Judy and Gus, we are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful man, and we have such great memories of sharing meals together. He is with your mom and will forever be in our hearts.
