Mr. Cesar De Morais

Cesar was indeed a special person whose long and varied career was only overshadowed by his love and devotion to his family. Throughout one could count on his integrity and commitment to good public policy and always a wonderful laugh and sense of humour.

As a court reporter, knowing that His Worship would be the presiding justice for that day ensured that we would have an efficiently-run court and a chuckle or two along the way. I will miss his smile, his input of other languages into the proceedings (which made typing a nightmare but a lot of fun as well), as well as his vast knowledge of the legal system. I will miss him a lot. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Richard, We were very saddened to hear about your father’s passing. He was someone that really lived every day to the fullest. He was such a talented person, and I know that lives on in you.
