Dad, today I'm getting ready to go see you and my heart is breaking and my eyes full of tears. I still can't believe that you are gone, and how fast it happened, but I am very grateful to have had the chance to see you before you were gone. I'm going to miss our Sunday afternoon coffees together, and the evening phone calls as when my phone would ring and say "call from D. Vieira" and Sabrina yelling out, "it's avo calling answer the phone" . You would call to make sure I got home ok from work, and we would go over your appointments, and 5 minutes later the phone would ring again as you had forgotten to mention something. I am going to miss you, but I know that you are with mom, your parents, and brother. Rest in peace dad and until we meet again.
