So sorry to hear about Fred's passing. Fred was one of the first tennis players I met at O'Connor Tennis club when I moved to Toronto a few years back. I always had fun and learned something when I got together with Fred!

This is a shocking and sad passing of a good friend who I saw as a kind hearted, thoughtful man and at so young an age! I have many fond memories of Fred and our many golfing vacations together and of the more than 30 years of close contact which tapered off over the last 10 years. He will be missed and remembered! I will be coming from Ottawa and hope to share some stories with his other friends and family. My deepest condolences to his family. Richard Murphy

I am honoured and blessed to have known Fred. Fred and I played tennis together for many years and I enjoyed his sense of humour and his encyclopedic knowledge of rules. I also appreciated his ability to tinker and fix most things. I will remember and miss him. My sincere condolences.
