Obituary
Genadio Ferreira passed away on November 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with lung disease. Genadio is deeply missed by his loving wife Venilde (née Martins) and devoted daughters Tonita, Grace and Kathy. He is mourned by his sons-in-law Jorge, Chris and Greg, his sister Dália and by his extended family in Portugal. He was a doting grandfather and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jacob, Jackson, Sofia and Gabriel for whom he loved to buy the noisiest toys he could find. Born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel on March 16, 1937, Genadio and his wife arrived in Toronto in 1965. They were married for 54 happy years. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours for his love of nature, artistic talent and inquisitive mind. He was an avid gardener, a painter and loved to tinker with anything electronic. The memory of his humour and spirited nature will remain forever in our hearts. We love you. Rest in Peace.Visitation
