That Which Once Brought Us Immense Joy Now Brings Us Profound Sadness


With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Tato, Dido, Vuyko, surrounded by family on October 25th, 2008 at the age of 84. Tato, a man of honour, integrity and unwavering commitment to family, will lovingly be remembered by his children, Myron, Ulana (Kevin Smith) and Borys (Hanusia). Dido’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved grandchildren Adriana Mojsiak, Adrian and Marichka. Vuyko’s love, devotion and Ukrainian traditions will be deeply missed by his nieces, Svitlana, Areta (Ihor), Lila (Joey), Marta (Mike), nephew Dudio and Teta Nadia. His sense of humour and zest for life will be cherished by many friends and family from near and far. Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 29th, 2008. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation in memory of George and in honour of his predeceased granddaughter Taissa would be greatly appreciated by the family.
