I was incredibly saddened by the news of the passing of a truly kind and compassionate friend. I want to convey my sincere condolences to his sons and family, and wish them strength through this very difficult time. Like many others, I suspect, I first met Harry as a "customer", in need of, I believe, a working mixer and some advice on acquiring components. From there, and throughout the more than 30 years following, he was always there with assistance and a broad and detailed knowledge of his craft, that he was willing and able to share. Harry and I also shared an appreciation for antique and vintage automobiles, recounting many "car guy" stories and sending photos back and forth over the years. He did, in fact, create and build a number of "Quan Technology" custom audio and power installations for my vehicles. To Harry, it was more than simply about technical audio solutions. I remember vividly one fateful and looming red carpet at TIFF when a audio problem developed, and one call to Harry brought him and a replacement piece of gear to the location....on his bicycle! That was typical of his generous and caring nature, and the level of service - and interest - he had in both his customers, and our industry. A truly consummate professional. I will miss our conversations, and sharing numerous dinners in the myriad of restaurants a stone's throw from his home. However, I will always remember his laugh, and the enthusiasm with which he approached his friends and his life. Thank you Harry.

My deepest condolences to the entire family on Harry's passing. He was a beautiful person who I knew for many years as I lived at Beverley and Baldwin. He surely will be remembered for his contagious smile and caring heart and for his love of vintage Mercedes Benz 🙂 May he rest in eternal peace. You truly will be missed Harry.🙏🏽😢
