I lost touch with Jay after university and have always wondered what happened to him as he just dropped off the map in the mid- to latter part of the 1980s, a time in his life he was troubled. Before that, we were in a tight group of close friends that started while I was at Elmwood and he was at Ashbury. I'm so sad to hear this news. I'll never forget you, Jay!

I knew Jay in 1970-71 at Ashbury College. Hw was the coolest guy in the school. He had great wit, a friendly smile, and always had a gleam in his eye. We played hockey and football together - Jay was a great competitor and team mate. A Nebraska Cornhusker fan, I always thought of Jay when when I saw them play. Rest in peace!
