NOVAK, Ivan “John” – passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, Saints Peter and Paul Day, in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 92 years. Born February 3, 1922 in Dypcza, Ukraine. Beloved husband to Olga (nee: Kalenik). Loving father to George and Larissa. Cherished grandfather of Lucas. Survived by sisters Katherine and Anna, his nieces Hanya and Olya and their families. Visitation will be held Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (just east of Keele) on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6 – 9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7 p.m. An Orthodox Rite of Funeral will take place at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1630 Dupont St. On Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre (Oakville).Visitation
