Obituary

NALYWAYKO, Ivan With profound sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Ivan Nalywayko, who left this world peacefully in his 88th year on November 27, 2018 at the Ukrainian Care Centre in Toronto (UCC) in the comfort of his family. Predeceased by his father Ivan Ivanovich and dear mother Natalia, brother Yuri and sister Svitlana and survived by his sister Ala. Beloved husband to Meedy, devoted father to Natalia Visekruna (Simo), Nestor, and Svitlana Sobczyk (Bob), and loving grandfather to Miroslav and Sanja. Ivan was an active and prominent member of the Ukrainian social and business community in Hamilton. He was a vocally proud and active supporter of Ukrainian culture, history and independence The family would like to extend a special thank you to all UCC staff for their attentive and compassionate care. A very special thank you to Ana Bida, who assisted with exceptional care. A private family funeral will be held at St. Volodymyr's Chapel in Oakville on December 3, 2018, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to UCC would be appreciated.
